Entangled in everyday affairs

We are so entangled in our everyday affairs, we don’t even think about where we are going with our life.

For many of my coaching clients, the everyday problems and situations become so overwhelming. That in the coaching session, they go on talking about the issues they are facing, how people are irritating, how they don’t ever get what they want etc. When I ask them what is that they want – they stop dead in their tracks. Most people don’t give themselves the time and luxury of thinking about what they want. The 15 minute me-time a day that is recommended by many Personal Growth Gurus are gone unheard.

For a muslim, it must be more important to use time beneficially.

Ibn Abbas narrated that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:

“There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) health and free time for doing good.” (Bukhari 8/421)

Why get so entangled with our everyday affairs, getting stressed, unable to sleep… oh a list of too many woes…

Allah has shown us an easier path, hasn’t he promised ease to us if we do what we are supposed to be doing here with our time on earth i.e., worship Allah.

Worship Allah and he makes other worldly affairs easy on us… Ameen.

“A person shall be asked concerning five things on the Day of Resurrection: concerning their life, how they spent it; concerning their youth, how they grew old; concerning their wealth, where they acquired it from, and in what way they spent it; and what they did with the knowledge they had.” [Tirmidhi]

Salaam

I hope I find you in the best of health and peace. Ameen.

I found this dua while searching for a dua to start a new venture

Bismillah-ir-rahmannir-raheem. Allahumma Khirlee wa akhtharlee.

Meaning: In the name of Allah, the most kind, the most merciful,O Allah! provide me with what is good for me and choose it for me.

InshaAllah, I will learn more duas, more ways of Sunnah in my journey to integrate myself as a Muslimah and becoming a life coach. I pray for enlightenment to come my way and use it to enrich my life. If someone gets benefit from this learning of mine, Alhamdulillah, I will be happy.
